Edward.
A Sydney based designer that is creating a more diverse happiness portfolio.
So what have I been doing in order to develop this?
Well, over the last 5 years I have spent my time understanding, developing, designing, enriching and erecting major events and exhibition experiences that are focused on fulfilling the needs of both users and businesses. I approach this with a strong belief of designing with a purpose and aim to ensure that every touch point with stakeholders, customers, audiences and space is meaningful, accessible and valuable, not just pretty.
Concurrently, I have also been managing a team of 5, mentoring them, growing them and aligning their passions and skills with the work that we do, building confidence in their capabilities.
Outside of design you will find photography and powerlifting in my happiness portfolio. These two aspects of my life have taught and inspired me to become a better person, manager and designer. It has taught me patience and to really, really, really, love the process despite the failures along the way (which I have learnt from).
Oh and also sushi, sushi plays a big part in my happiness portfolio.
